Day 4: $100 Savings Challenge – Pause a subscription

This is the 4th day of the $100 Savings Challenge, and today’s project is much simpler – easy to do! But small things like this can add a lot of savings!
See more information on what I did today’s project below…

Before we meet the challenges, one easy way we save today is to bring our own snacks on our road trip. Remember the big deal on Granola Bars we shared recently?
I brought a bunch of them on my trip to Atlanta today (we spend big baseball games here next week, playing big baseball games for Silas), and that’s what we eat on the trip instead of stopping to buy snacks. (If you want to save more, you can make your own granola bar. However, since I got a lot of stuff, I stick to the store I bought today!)

Day 4 Challenge:
Pause or unsubscribe: Cancel or suspend streaming services, applications, or memberships for the month. (Save: $10-$20)
I highly recommend that you check your subscription regularly to see your payment methods and make sure you use the app, watch streaming services regularly, and are perfect for using your membership.
Another thing I often do is remind on the calendar to unsubscribe and/or make sure I actually use them. Typically, the price here is only $5 and there is $7.99 per month, but in a year, that figure totals a lot of money!
So when I sign up for content for subscribe, I reminded my calendar to check it in 25 days to make sure I like membership/subscription and find it valuable enough to keep using it. If not, that gives me time to cancel before it is automatically updated!

We just recently browsed every order item in the budget to make sure we want to keep all subscriptions and memberships, but today I went into my Amazon account and checked to make sure I know when the dates are free Amazon music and free Amazon music and free snacks for unlimited quotes, I’ve signed up and made sure they are on my calendar.

I also participated in Amazon Subscriptions and Saves to see what we have and make sure I want to keep them (I do this regularly because I often order items by subscribing and saving to get discounts and then cancel on my order boat.)

I canceled my subscription to granola today and finished dishwasher pods today. I count it as a $20 saving because it guarantees that I won’t forget somehow and charge full prices for these items in August and September.
So we are currently So far, $45.25 is found/save in the challenge. How many have you saved/found for part of the challenge as part of the challenge?
