Leeds BS Name Barnes Interim CEO serves as Fearon spends family time – Mortgage Strategy

Richard Fearon, CEO of the Leeds Architecture Association, will resign temporarily as his family prepares to have a child.
Fearon will be replaced by interim CEO Annette Barnes, but will be subject to regulatory approval.
Barnes is a senior independent director of the company and has served on the board since 2019.
Prior to joining the association’s board of directors, Barnes was CEO of Lloyds Bank Private Banking and managing director of Lloyds Banking Group. She has over 35 years of experience in financial services.
Fearon, who was in the best job in 2019, said: “I’m taking a break for the moment, so I can prioritize family time and make the most of my new baby in October.
“Annette is a highly competent leader who cares deeply about society, its members and colleagues. I believe she will do a great job.”
He added that he is “fully committed to” the business.
“I and all the board members have given Richard full support. I am very pleased to help the society with the interim CEO position.”
