OMS expands national BS functions – sanction strategy

A mortgage system (OMS) expands the functionality of its complete application programming interface (API) linking with the National Building Association.

Brokers using OMS can now submit decisions (DIPS) to all national mortgage applicants, including self-employed individuals, contractors, foreign nationals and those seeking interest.

Integration supports key product options such as helper hands and extra help.

In addition, product pre-orders are now available within the OMS platform.

Fact lookup information from OMS is passed directly to nationally without re-providing the data to intermediaries nationwide.

After submission, the nationwide decision will be returned directly to the OMS platform, allowing brokers to review, modify and resubmit if necessary. The broker will also obtain a DIP certificate in the OMS if needed.

As they continue to make a full application, all personal information and loan requirements will be automatically transferred to NFI online and any support files can be requested from the client using the Integration Checklist step.

“We have been listening to the needs of loan partners and users, and this rapid upgrade to the initial national integration reflects that,” said Neal Jannels, managing director of mortgage systems.

“The result is a more complete, end-to-end journey for a variety of cases. It simplifies submissions and deletion of duplications, helping brokers and clients achieve the right results faster and accurately.”

National Digital Digital Andy Tilsley added nationwide: “We continue to support the middle market by making brokers business with us faster and faster. We work closely with OMS to enhance the digital journey to improve the quality of submissions and save brokers time.”

In March, OMS related to national APIs provided brokers with faster decisions.
