Mpowered Mortgages has promoted Peter Stimson to a mortgage director for professional lenders.
The digital business lowered its price earlier this month, and he said Stimson’s new role will lead its mortgage claims as well as its broker and technology operations.
Stimson (pictured) joined the company’s sister automatic loan initiator MQUBE in 2019 and previously served as product director.
“Peter played a role in Mpower’s growth and influence as a mainstream residential mortgage lender,” said Stuart Cheetham, CEO of Mpowered Mortgages.
“His understanding of lender challenges and how to solve them with technology and smarter product design – makes him the ideal person to lead our mortgage business to the next stage of growth.”
Also known as the co-host of Exchange Rate, Peter presented a podcast with Jack Izzard, founder of Gallia Communications, which provides analysis on swaps and interest rate trends, and the economic power that shapes the mortgage industry.
