Norton joins MAB Lenders Panel – Mortgage Strategy

Norton Home Loans has joined the Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) panel of lenders, offering advisers a range of specialist first fee mortgage products.
Norton has more than 50 years of experience in specialty lending, providing brokers with case support that goes beyond standard criteria, including complex credit histories, affordability challenges, and non-standard income or property types.
Its broker-first approach combines flexible criteria, case-by-case evaluation and direct access to underwriters.
As one of the UK’s most established mortgage networks, MAB supports more than 2,000 advisers, giving them access to a wide range of lenders, technology tools and marketing support.
Norton’s addition to the panel gives MAB members greater flexibility in bringing more challenging cases, particularly in a market where client situations are becoming increasingly complex.
The group agreement covers Norton’s first suite of fee-based products and is now available to MAB advisers across the UK.
David Binney, sales director at Norton Home Loans, said: “The Mortgage Advice Bureau is one of the most respected and progressive networks in the market, so joining its panel of lenders is a significant step forward for us.”
Rachel Geddes, strategic lender relations director at MAB, added: “Norton Home Loans brings a level of knowledge that is difficult to replicate.”
“With more than 50 years of experience in this part of the market, they understand the types of challenges our advisors face every day, from credit fluctuations and unusual income to more complex affordability scenarios.”
In September, Norton Home Loans strengthened its intermediary support by promoting Jake Stringer to telephone business development manager.
