More2life launches free CPD webinar on later life lending – Mortgage Strategies

More2life has launched a new four-part webinar series on later life mortgages and equity release, which is accredited to count towards advisors’ continuing professional development (CPD).

The series, which begins today and continues throughout the month, will cover topics such as regulation, financing, innovation, customer needs and marketing strategy.

Each session provides structured continuing professional development and includes insights from leading figures in the mortgage and financial services industry.

The first session, “The Future of Markets,” will be held today at noon.

The meeting, chaired by More2life CEO Dave Harris, will explore the FCA’s Mortgage Market Discussion Paper (DP25/2), the impact of gilt market dynamics and the outlook for 2026.

Guests included Charlotte Allen and Roland Steere from Key Group, and Karina Hutchins from UK Finance.

Future sessions will focus on product innovation (November 14), the many uses of lifetime mortgages (November 21) and advisor public relations and marketing (November 28).

Speakers in the series include representatives from Coreco, Retirement Solution, UK Moneyman, HHH, Moreish, HLP and Square 1 Media.

Advisors can register to participate via the More2life website.

Dave Harris, chief executive of More2life, said: “Lending in later life has grown into one of the most dynamic areas of the mortgage market, and advisers remain at the heart of it.

“The industry is evolving rapidly, driven by changing customer needs, product development, financing issues and regulators recognizing the industry’s importance to the future lives of many older borrowers.

“The Lender Lens Live series aims to break down this complexity and give advisors a clear, confident view of where the market is headed.

“Each session is designed around what consultants tell us they need most – practical insights and opportunities to learn from others facing the same challenges.

“Whether it’s deciphering the FCA’s latest proposals, gaining insight into product innovation, or exploring how to reach new audiences through simple and effective planning, our aim is to make these webinars valuable, engaging and truly useful to the people driving the market.”
