Entering the discomfort zone

“I really want to make more money,” she said with a heavy sigh.. “But I find it hard to feel comfortable demanding my own worth.”

This woman is missing the point. I don’t know anyone who wants to raise prices or ask for a raise. However, people who don’t earn enough will sabotage their success rather than endure discomfort.

It’s amazing how attached we are to our so-called comfort zones. What a misnomer. These places are not comfortable at all. They’re just familiar and predictable.
