Perenna launches a range of 7 to 15 year loans – Mortgage Strategies

Perenna will launch a range of 7-, 10- and 15-year fixed-rate residential loans next week.
The long-term lender said the loans, which will only be available through brokers from Tuesday 4 November, will cost 4.89 per cent to buy a seven-year fixed-rate home at 60 per cent, with a fee of £995.
Other deals include a 10-year purchase fixed at 5.90% with an LTV of 95% (no fees), and a 15-year remortgage at 5.79% with an LTV of 80%.
The company launches in the UK in 2023, offering home loans for up to 40 years. The company said borrowers will not face early repayment fees if they move or sell their home.
It added that early repayment charges will only apply if you remortgage within a fixed term, or if you pay more than 10% more per year.
Colin Bell, chief operating officer at Perenna, said: “Buying a home is widely regarded as a means of building wealth, but homeowners often struggle with rising household costs as interest rates fluctuate and inflationary pressures worsen.
“Perenna’s long-term fixed-rate mortgages eliminate this uncertainty while allowing borrowers to better budget.”
