Bradford keeps the crown as the top UK home hotspot: Onthemarket – Mortgage Strategy

Bradford retained the UK’s leading housing hotspots in the three months to July, according to new research from Onthemarket.

The property website’s hotspot index looks at the number of available sales attributes within a quarter and compares them to the number of live events, creating scores representing interest in the field.

West Yorkshire City is the city of British culture this year, and has led the survey for the past nine months.

In the current poll, Coventry saw one of the biggest growths in rankings, second in ninth, a surge in inquiries about growing interest in the region.

Stoke-on-Trent’s Stoke-on-Trent is a new entrant in the top ten, rising from 12th to 9th.

Meanwhile, Barnsley moved another way, from the top ten to fifteen.

The “coldest” position is Brighton, which is the bottom of the poll, swapped positions with Southend-on-Sea at 54 places, which raised three positions to 52.

Bristol lowered eight positions to 46, reaching the bottom 10 for the first time.

Onthemarket President Jason Tebb said: “North/South Divide once again has a firm company, with the top of the list dominated by some of the most dynamic and outstanding positions in North England, and we found the most events in the event.

“Instead, at the feet of the table, southern seaside towns with relatively high average property value were found, such as Worthing, North Sea State and Bournemouth.”

Tebb added: “Although interest rates have been lowered five times in the past year and many lenders have lowered their standards, the continued high cost of living means affordability remains a concern for many.

“As a result, buyers prefer places that will develop further.” But despite strong wages, average property values have also increased, which makes it difficult for many to bridge the gap. ”

In the boroughs of the capital, there are less fluctuations than in the country, and the Bark, Dagenham and the City of London have converted positions at the top.

“The composition of the top ten has not changed at all, and some have cuts, but no new entrants or dropouts,” the survey said.

Lambeth has the least active housing market in any borough of London’s 32 boroughs (the 32 boroughs of London), and has become the borough again from May to July, which is again in line with the bottom positions from February to April and November to January.

Dagenham Gary Scargill’s Haart Branch partner said: “Dagenham continues to attract strong interest from buyers due to affordability and excellent transport connections.

“There are four stations serving the area and residents’ direct connection to London will never be far away. Freehold homes start at around £325,000, which has excellent value compared to many adjacent locations.

“The area also has a lot of leisure spaces that make it popular with families and those seeking a balanced lifestyle.

“Recent significant developments, such as the opening of Eastbrook Studios, the newest, largest film and television studio in London, further boosted the visibility and appeal of Dagnum, thus facilitating the growing demand.”
