CHL Mortgage National Account Manager Valvona Retired after 45 years – Mortgage Strategy

Andy Valvona, a national account manager at the intermediary agency, has retired after 45 years of financial services.
Valvona left CHL Mortgage after nearly five years and was responsible for the major relationships of professional landlord lenders with networks, mortgage clubs, packers and key accounts.
After running his own consulting firm (Money Technology) for a short period of time, he joined the broker-only business.
However, in a career that includes 36 years Agency mortgage markets, he holds senior positions in Fleet Mortgage, Primis Mortgage Network, Cooperative Bank, National and Birmingham Midshires.

He added:I am honored to have worked in the financial sector for 45 years and have worked in the intermediary mortgage market for the last 36 years.
“In this wonderful industry, I met a lot of people, many of whom have become good friends.
“I have also seen a lot of changes in the industry, but the fundamentals of loans have never changed.”
The intermediary’s CHL mortgage has not yet confirmed its successor.
