As 2025 comes to a close, it’s incredible to see new ways in which artificial intelligence and technology continue to transform and be applied to every aspect of the insurance lifecycle – from customer service to managing email communications and summarizing key account information. This is an exciting and pivotal time for the industry, and I am delighted to serve as Senior Vice President and General Manager of EZLynx.
Over the past year at Applied Systems, I’ve had the privilege of leading inside sales, account management, business development, and alliance partnerships. This experience has connected me with so many incredible customers, partners, and team members, deepening my understanding of what makes EZLynx truly unique: a shared commitment to empowering independent agents to double their productivity and thrive through thoughtful, practical tools.
Ultimately, we know that when agencies not only choose EZLynx to power their businesses, but stay with us, we’ve delivered on our promise, and the results speak for themselves. We are particularly proud that the average tenure of EZLynx customers is ten years, an extraordinary milestone in an industry where long-term technology partnerships are uncommon.
That’s why our mission is to continually add value to our agency partners, ensuring they have the tools and support they need to grow and succeed so they can continue to compete, win, and thrive. While we’ve made tremendous progress in helping agencies operate more efficiently and strengthen their businesses, we know there’s still more work to do.
Here’s what we’re focused on in 2025 and what I’m most excited to continue to build on:
EVA™ (EZLynx Virtual Assistant), our built-in assistant that helps agencies work smarter, has been upgraded with new features to save you time and reduce tedious work. With features like Account Summary, agents can quickly see an overview of customer activity, while EVA Content Assist takes the guesswork out of drafting professional customer emails with AI-generated copy. After-hours text replies can now automatically send messages even when agents are off-duty, helping to increase customer retention and ensure customers always feel connected.
At EZLynx, we know how costly and complex business lien filing can be, so we set out to simplify the process. This year, we launched EZLynx’s new single-stream commercial line workflow, which provides a unified, repeatable path for submissions, making the process seamless. With embedded commercial line ratings (usually available in Q1), agents can access real-time quotes directly within their workflow. Automated generation of ACORD forms ensures documents are pre-populated and carrier-ready, reducing errors and saving valuable time.
Staying connected with customers and growing the business remain top priorities. In 2025, we expanded our customer communication tools with dynamic personalized text messages, allowing agents to include customer-specific details, such as name or named producer, in text messages. Our email campaign updates now include step-by-step workflow guides, making it easier than ever to set up, schedule and send automated campaigns. Additionally, our new one-click Google Review Request enables agents to request customer reviews immediately after key interactions, capturing positive feedback when it’s top of mind.
Our Customer Success team remains deeply committed to agency growth. This year we have launched a series of interactive webinars covering topics such as risk prevention for agencies, line of business innovation and updated best practices. We’ve also expanded our library of support articles and launched EVA Product Assistance, an AI-powered tool that helps agents seamlessly navigate EZLynx functionality in real time.
