Ecology appoints Pearson and Midgley as BDM – Mortgage Strategy

The Ecological Construction Association has appointed two new business development managers (BDMs).

Andy Pearson and Georgia Midgley are responsible for strengthening the association’s team of green mortgage experts on its services to intermediaries.

Pearson was appointed to the new telephonic BDM role after joining Ecology two years ago as a mortgage advisor. He has been working in the industry for over 15 years.

Midgley joins Ecology as a telephone BDM with 10 years of experience in the mortgage industry, a role he previously held at another mutual lender.

Daniel Capstick, senior mortgage product and proposition manager at Ecology, said: “Intermediaries play a key role in supporting our lending objectives so we can reach more customers and increase our reach.”

“Our two new phone BDMs are the latest investment in Ecology’s offering to brokers who are already seeing the benefits of the improvements we have made to our product range and systems.”

“Further enhancements to our online services will be visible in the coming weeks, allowing us to engage with clients faster and easier. We will continue to work closely with brokers to better understand their needs and tailor our services to be the best we can be.”

Last week, L&G’s Mortgage Club business added EcoBuilding Associates to its panel of lenders.
