Allstate charges 17 companies with $2 million no-fault fraud scheme

Here’s how it allegedly worked: The operation created 17 separate companies that looked independent but operated like a single machine. Eleven “technical” entities owned by undocumented individuals will show up at no-fault clinics in the New York metropolitan area and perform ultrasound exams. Six “professional” companies (licensed doctors listed as owners) will individually charge fees for interpreting these same scans.
