Lendinvest has appointed Dan Lohn as its development finance team as relationship manager.
Lohn will have more than a decade of development loan experience as well as real estate developers and investors themselves, and will report to Steve Larkin, managing director of the division.
Previously, Lohn worked as Business Development Manager at Close Brothers Property Finance.
“After learning about Steve and his history in the industry, I was naturally interested when he mentioned to me the opportunity to have it on Lendinvest.
“It was an easy decision after meeting with the rest of the team and getting a better understanding of their goals and funding pipeline.
“I look forward to bringing my unique perspective into the role.
“Having experience on both sides of the deal, this gave me a deeper understanding when using a wise approach and a more commercial perspective on the risks involved.”
Larkin added: “It is an exciting time for England, Scotland and Wales as more and more investors take development financing as an opportunity for new home construction.
“Dan brings deep market knowledge from lenders and developers; his insights and ambitions will help our small and medium-sized enterprise developers support them when driving dynamic markets.”
This comes after Lendinvest appoints a new distribution director in August.
