Santander has begun working with Experian to trial the credit checking company’s new job reporting service, which is designed to simplify review of income and employment information.

It added: “This service can help us eliminate the need for Payslips for some of your customers.”

The bank says the benefits of Experian work report are:

The lender said that during the pilot period, “the application journey has not changed” and the broker “still need to provide the client’s paylips on all mortgage applications. We will also use the Experian Work Report Report service to verify the information.”

But it added that once the broker has obtained the client’s consent, they “can choose them to attend the trial by selecting ‘yes’ on the confirmation page in the introduction internet”.

The bank notes that this test will not affect customer marketing preferences, “If a customer changes his mind, your customer can opt out at any time.”

If their client opts out of the pilot, the agent will need to send an email to Santander.
