Broker Merger Key Growth Purchase Two Companies – Mortgage Strategy

The merger of mortgage brokers has purchased two companies in England and Northern Ireland.
The group bought more options for Financial, a Bedford-based mortgage and protection agent founded in 2007 by directors Julie Myers and Gareth Tucker.
It said the acquisition will be integrated with the existing Northampton-based subsidiary Farm Mortgage and Protection Services.
But it added that the new purchases “will continue to operate from the current premises.”
“We are excited to work with Grange and take advantage of the wide range of resources we can use now,” said Myers, director of financial services at More Choices.
The group also acquired McPolin Financial Services, founded by John McPolin in Banbridge, Northern Ireland 20 years ago.
The company will be a bolt acquisition of another subsidiary of the group, located in Select Mortgage & Financial Solutions in Lisbon, Northern Ireland.
Pivotal added that McPolin Financial Services “will remain in its current position with existing teams in place.”
“This partnership provides us with a larger group support while allowing us to continue serving our clients in the same individual way,” said John McPolin, managing director of McPolin Financial Services.
Both companies purchased for undisclosed fees.
Simon Embley, CEO of Pivotal Growth, said: “It’s two established, well-known companies with strong leadership. By aligning them with Grange and Select, we are enhancing our collaboration, expanding our reach and continuing to provide excellent service to our clients in the UK.”
Earlier this week, Pivotal Growth said Mayank Prakash will take over as CEO of the group from Embley early next month.
Prakash is most recently Chief Operating Officer of Wealth Manager Evelyn Partners and holds senior positions at Centrica, Morgan Stanley and Sage.
Emberly is the founding shareholder of the business and he becomes chairman.
The key growth is the joint venture established in 2021 by Pollen Street, property services and asset manager of listed business LSL.
