Not long ago, I had a very interesting conversation with someone who happened to be a former theft.

If you do hide money somewhere around the house, make sure your other important (or closest) knows where your hiding is. If something unfortunate happened to you and no one knows where your hiding is, then it is impossible for the thieves to find it if they can’t find it. 3. Hidden door security

Finally, if you don’t want to spend any money and are very convenient, consider hiding the hidden doors safely. What you want to do is drill a hole in the top of a solid core wooden door that is enough to accommodate a cigar tube with a screw cap. Includes a recessed lip to accommodate a slightly larger top than the tube – this way, the tube will not fall into the door (the washer secured to the top of the cigar tube is the perfect lid). This stash is small, but large enough for cash and some kind of jewelry.
