2nd quarter earnings
Earlier this month, Aspen reported second-quarter and semi-year results, showing improvements in performance. Insurers’ total ratio for the three months ended June 30 was 85.1%, up 3.6 points from the same period last year, with underwriting revenue reaching $100 million. Underwriting revenue totaled US$106 million, with an adjusted merger ratio of 84.3%.
