We are millionaires – Here is a snapshot of our lives

I know my millionaire well in my five years of rich habit research. They have a lot in common. Here are snapshots of typical millionaires in my research:

  • We are really rich. We are worth at least $3.2 million. 16% of us are worth over $5 million. We make at least $160,000 a year. Half of us earn close to $500,000 per year.
  • We are not young. 80% of us are over 50 years old.
  • It took us a long time to accumulate our wealth. On average, wealthy people as savings investors are 22-year-old big company climbers, 21-year-old performers and entrepreneurs for 12 years.
  • We love our work. 86% of us like what we do to make a living. 61% of us pursue some dreams or things we are passionate about. Those of us who do pursue our dreams have become millionaires in about 12 years and as a whole, the average net worth is $7.4 million.
  • The richest of us have successful mentors who teach us what to do and what not to do. It turns out that finding a successful mentor is a fast track for success and wealth.
  • We read every day to learn. 88% of us read it every day to increase our working knowledge. 85% of us read at least two books a month. 63% of us are commuting to and from get off work, working in our backyard, exercising or working and listening to audio books or podcasts. We don’t read entertainment. We consider entertainment reading a time-wasting habit that should be done moderately.
  • Most of us make our homemade ones. 31% of us grew up in a poor house. 45% of us are raised in middle-class homes. Only 24% of us inherit a large amount of money from our parents, which has made a significant contribution to our wealthy people.
  • We have many good habits, few of them. 73% of us get the habit of success from our parents. The rest of us have gained a habit of success from mentors or from tough schools.
  • We are competitive. 63% of us participate in sports in high school and continue to participate in adults.
  • We are in good health. We exercise almost every day. 76% of us exercise for at least 4 days a week for 30 minutes. Usually, we like jogging, running or cycling. We see what we eat every day. We don’t eat too much junk food. We don’t go to fast food restaurants often. We don’t eat candy often. We don’t get drunk often. We don’t take drugs. We floss every day. We slept at least 7 hours a night. We don’t smoke.
  • We like to coach others. We love helping others succeed in life.
  • Our time and money are charitable. 72% of volunteers in the U.S. are at a local nonprofit for 5 hours or more per month. We also donate to these same charities. Many of us help run local, community-based charities. This is one of the ways we get to know other successful people in our community. Many of them are our friends and we do business with them.
  • We all have financial advisors. We bounced everything from the CPA. We also have lawyers. Many of us are Home Depot investors – we like to choose our own investments and then rebound from our financial advisors.
  • We are very happy.
  • Same house, same wife and same car. 64% of homes in the United States are homes. We have owned our home for at least 20 years. Few of us divorced. We drive old cars. Most of the time, we buy quality used cars. We almost never rented a car.
  • We plan our day. 81% of us keep a to-do list. Many of us also keep a list of not-we shouldn’t waste time.
  • We vote. 83% of the U.S. vote in each election.
  • We won’t spend a lot of money on holidays. 96% of us spend less than $6,000 on holidays. 41% of us cost less than $3,000.
  • We wake up early every day. 44% of us wake up at least before our workday begins.
  • In addition to controlling investors, we are the bosses of our work. 91% of large-scale corporate climbers, Virtuosos and entrepreneurs are decision makers. We are one of them: a teacher, a small business owner, a CEO, a senior executive, a CPA, a lawyer, a doctor, a financial consultant or a salesperson.
  • We are frugal. At least the savings among us investors and performers.
  • We go to college. 68% of us go to college. 56% of us work hard in college. 25% of us go to graduate school.
  • We are not afraid of taking risks. 63% of us risk getting rich. 27% of us failed at least once in our business.
  • We work a lot. 73% of the people in the United States work an average of 58 hours a week.
  • We like to pursue goals. At any given time, 80% of us focus on one major goal.
  • We won’t be angry or angry. We have mastered our emotions. That’s why we have so many strong relationships – people want to interact with us and do business with us.
  • We hang out with other successful people, those who pursue success or those who are optimistic and optimistic and have something on the ball. We don’t hang out with negative people or people who keep complaining. We avoid negative and toxic people like plague.
  • We hardly ever gamble. 84% of us never gambled.
  • We believe in the American Dream. Our parents instilled this in us. We are realizing the American Dream. We believe we are the architects of our lives. We are responsible for creating our own lives.
  • We abide by the law. 99% of us have never been arrested.
  • Many of us have built teams that help us succeed. In addition to controlling investors, 84% of us have a group of our teams every day.
  • We are depositors. From the first day we started working, 94% of our savings investors or Virtuosos has been saving 20% of our revenue. We all have retirement savings.
  • We have multiple sources of income. 65% of our revenue streams. 45% of us have 4 streams. 29% of us have 5 streams.
  • We don’t watch TV. 67% of us watch less than an hour of TV every day.
  • We are optimists. We have positive psychological prospects for life. This is one of the reasons why we become homemade millionaires.
  • We don’t lie, we are honest. People trust us and therefore want to do business with us.
  • We are not extremely smart in school. 77% of us are students C or students B. But we became very smart after school. We educate ourselves. We never stop learning the whole adult life.
