United Trust Bank (UTB) Bridge has appointed Gene Clohessy as the new position of Underwriting Director.
Clohessy has worked for Banking and Finance for nearly 20 years, serving as the Underwriting Director, including Lendinvest, and most recently, Senior Proposition Manager at Shawbrook Bank.
Her skills and experience include service management, market analysis and strategy, and she has a reputation for building relationships with brokers and introducers.
UTB’s senior underwriting manager will report to Gene, who in turn will report to the directors of Bridge Sundeep Patel.
Over the past year, Patel has built UTB’s bridge underwriting team to be able to manage regulated and unregulated bridge applications separately.
Clohessy’s initial priority will be to continue developing Bridge’s credit strategy and identify potential process improvements.
