Bennett reappoints as chairman of BOE Residential Property Forum – Mortgage Strategy

The Bank of England has confirmed Jackie Bennet as chairman of the Residential Property Forum.
RPF is an industry-leading group convened by the Bank of England that helps monitor the UK’s residential sector to support the work of the Financial Policy Committee.
Bennett’s term has been renewed for a second three-year period, extending to April 2028.
After nearly 25 years of working in the mortgage sector, she recently had a semi-pension payment, including the last seven years in the UK finances.
While in the UK finance, she served as a senior consultant specializing in personal finance and previously served as a mortgage director.
She has also held senior positions on the Mortgage Lender and Mortgage Company Committee.
She currently serves as a non-executive director for the New Housing Quality Commission (NHQB) and is a consultant for Climate X.
In addition, she is a trustee of Fairlife charity and provides independent consulting services to the financial services business.
During the financial crisis, Bennett was awarded an OBE in June 2010 for providing services to the financial services industry.
Commenting on her appointment, Bennett said: “I am delighted to be reappointed as Chairman of the RPF. The forum has played an important role in providing a broader understanding of the mortgage and housing market to the bank’s mortgage and housing market.”
“I look forward to continuing to bring together experts from all backgrounds for discussion.”
