What is CCB?
Child benefits Canada is a monthly payment given to eligible families by the CRA to qualifying children under the age of 18. This is to help low- and middle-income families pay for parenting. CCB was launched in 2016 and has been indexed since 2018.
CCB payments may include Child Disability Benefits (CDBs), with additional assistance provided by some provinces and territories (for example, Ontario Child Welfare or OCB).
