This is the 8th day of the $100 Savings Challenge and I didn’t follow these instructions exactly today (I’ll share more below!), but I did cancel the auto renewal, which will guarantee that we won’t accidentally spend $100 on auto renewal.
We will be playing baseball in Atlanta tomorrow. We had a great time and the kids performed well overall (except for the first few nights to sleep hard, but did a great job otherwise!).
Today, we saved…
– Plant your own snacks and drinks into the court (we have gone to the grocery store a few times to restorate here!) These chocolate peanut butter Quest Bars are my new favorite! (Did you see this popular deal on the taskbar now?)
– Use ice from hotel ice machines instead of buying (By the way, our Stanley Cooler has been grabbing it! We love it – it can sit in a chair, sit in a chair, stand, and stand! Again for $66!!)
– Attract a lot of free fun – play in baseball parks and hotels. The kids also had to watch blue on hotel TV during a long day and while having snacks outside, and they were very excited. Hopefully you hear them laughing… They think Bluey is fun!

We recently rerun the health insurance rate and chose a different plan. We have private insurance and get a high deduction after deduction and get 100% coverage (we’ve met this year since Kathrynne’s hospital was hospitalized at the beginning of the year + some other medical services, which we’ve met this year). We get interest rates through Zander and are very grateful for how they can help us get the most out of health insurance. We always check the plan once a year and see if there are better options or prices.
Therefore, we do not need to price our insurance. And, since our phone plan and internet services are one of the most important parts of our business and we are very happy with the business we are now, I don’t want to change anything else and may mess up coverage (plus, my phone and internet are business expenses), so we decided not to try to use something else instead.
A quick way we guarantee we won’t pay $113
I figured out how to get in and turn off automatic updates of Craftsy – so that I don’t have to remember to cancel when it’s approaching my year!
You just need to go to your account, click on membership, and then there is a button click to cancel the auto-renewal. Literally, it took me 30 seconds!
By the way, you can sign up for a completely free Craftsy account right now (we never saw it for free – this gives you access to over 1500 craft courses!) and then go in and click to not automatically renew and you will get a year for free without worrying about remembering to cancel!
