Day 3 Challenge:

Our refrigerator was exposed, but I was happy to get creative and came up with the idea of dining. Here is what we eat:

Eat from the pantry:

  • breakfast: Eggs (I found out the carton of the eggs I forgot a few weeks ago!)
  • Lunch: Snacks and the end of the snacks – I had Mandarin oranges, a mini taco, a free sample from the gym, and some salmon and the last piece of lettuce we had in the fridge.
  • snack: I remembered this candy pantry, I hid it on the top of the pantry and pulled it out so that the kids each picked something out of it. They were very excited! I also have some cookies and snacks tasks.
  • dinner: Brown beef and onion with rice and burger sauce on the side.
  • After dinner snacks: Sprinkle blueberries with walnuts and chocolate chips

We came almost entirely with vegetables, but we made it and actually ate some nice and delicious food!

I’ve calculated the money we saved without spending money yesterday, so we’re going to insist that we’re at: So far, $25.25 is found/save in the challenge. How many have you saved/found for part of the challenge as part of the challenge?
