6 books I’ve completed recently

If you see my post about the 2025 goals, you will know that I am achieving my monthly goals, not the annual goals for this year. So, I didn’t set an overall reading goal for 2025, but I plan to set monthly goals.
Every month, I plan to share comments on books I completed the previous month, as many of you ask me to bring back my book posts on my blog. I will also share more information about what I read in Instagram Stories in real time in Instagram Stories, podcasts, and my personal email newsletter.
Here are 6 books I have completed recently:
6 books I’ve completed recently
Underrated: Surprisingly simple transition, exit play small, named fear, move forward anyway – If you struggle or follow with fear, if you feel unsafe or don’t have what you need, this book will be a shot of the arms you need! If you think about the content of this book, be sure to listen to my interview with Mary Marantz on the podcast.
My mother’s house – I’m not even sure what to say about the book. I read this post after watching the Ruby Franke documentary. It’s some “fluffy” parts writing, but being a parent, reading and insightful person (especially someone who shares some details online) is heartbreaking to help me really understand what I post online and how it affects my relationship with my kids. (Note that it has some references about predatory behavior and child abuse. Some of the content may be triggered.)
Vampire Dinner – My sister highly recommends this. I listened to it, and it was very narrative. It’s original and tough, with a lot of language inside, but it’s really well told, and it’s a fascinating and sad story – but there’s also a story with redemption and hope.
Oh my God, what should I do? – This is a biblical study about Judges 1-5 and I learned a lot about some biblical stories and characters that I have never delved into before. I did a podcast interview with the author, which will be released later this summer! stay tuned.
Jewelry of Heaven – This is a story of a mom who gave birth to a daughter and gave a fatal diagnosis, and how it made her completely destroy her…but how God used it to completely change her life. Then, she went on a miracle trip with her daughter. This really helps me to have a better understanding of mom and you won’t want to miss the plot of the recorded I shared with her story with, which will be released later this summer!

For those who ask me when to read: I always have several books at a time, and I usually read one or two chapters of Christian inspiration + a business book every morning. Then, my goal is to read at least one novel/story driven book at night for 15 minutes.
What books have you completed recently? I really want to hear it!
