Cooperative Bank appoints Melville as CEO – Mortgage Strategy

The Cooperative Bank has appointed Andrea Melville as CEO.

Melville, the bank’s first female CEO, was also appointed Group Chief Commercial Officer of the Coventry Building Society, responsible for the group’s trade results and supporting its ongoing integration program.

She has over 20 years of experience in financial services in the UK and abroad, including personal, commercial and private banking.

Previously, she held senior positions at Santander and Lloyds Bank.

Melville’s appointment is announced Jo Kenrick serves as chairman. Kenrick’s career spans over 35 years and covers a variety of areas, including non-executive experience in utilities, financial services and property, as well as executive experience in retail, home renovation and home construction.
