California approved state farms to rise as high as 38%

The nonprofit advocacy group Consumer Watchdog also condemned the move, saying it was a violation of California’s Proposal 103, which requires insurers to fully justify any tax rate increase before implementation. “The public should have transparency,” said Carmen Balber, executive director of the group. “The refund after the facts will not help the homeowners who are already struggling.”
