OSB Group has appointed Peter Greig as the head of expert Outition to lead the new professional property solutions team.
Greig is a chartered surveyor and registered appraiser with more than 20 years of post-qualification experience.
He has expertise in the field and was formerly the head of real estate, and his knowledge of the UK property market covers many asset classes, including investments.
The new team will work to provide brokers and their clients with larger and more complex cases, with loans of over £5 million involving portfolio expansion, real estate development and complex ownership structures.
The team will include experienced underwriters and real estate professionals who are able to help brokers with long-term and short-term loans buy into LET (BTL) and commercial properties.
This includes multi-unit free equity blocks (MUFB), portfolio, dedicated student accommodation (PBSA), commercial property types and non-core property types.
The team will also assist in establishing transactions to support renovations and conversions.
