Influencers: Allstate and NACDA name Spring Good Works team

Northbrook, Illinois. (April 29, 2025) – Allstate and the National Association of Track and Field University Directors (NACDA) proudly introduce the inauguration ceremony Allstate NACDA Good Works Team (Spring), a group of 20 student-athletes who lead in sports, classrooms and communities across the country.
The team includes men and women from NCAA I, II, II and III and NAIA, representing spring sports including baseball, softball, tennis, golf, hockey, as well as track and field and track. Winners are selected from more than 200 nominees to advocate for education, mental health and expand opportunities for nutritious foods.
“These student-athletes are using their platform to improve their communities,” said ESPN reporter Holly Rowe. “Their service and resilience stories, from raising funds for cancer patients to elevating their faces with homeless children, prove that personal challenges can have a huge impact.”
2024-25 The Allstate NACDA Good Works team (Spring) features outstanding stories such as:
- University of Georgia Filipe Costa, men’s tennis: Founder of Costa Tennis Academy, an online platform that provides free tennis education to more than 60,000 students around the world.
- Northwestern Tyler Ganus, Baseball: Created Collegiate Mind Mastery, a national coaching program that connects Division I student-athletes with high school students to promote personal growth and academic achievement.
- Taylor Chepren, Marymount University, Women’s Hockey: Woodbury Park (Arlington, Virginia) mentors youth and provides holiday support to hundreds of families while leading the campus to help local hospitals and food banks.
- Jami Morris of Penn State, women’s golf:Establish For hope After the mother’s lymphoma diagnosis, more than $280,000 was raised within three years to support cancer treatment and patient care.
- Andrew Tjoa of the University of California, Santa Cruz, men’s tennis: He brought the Stanford Blood Center back to campus after the pandemic, restored vital resources and inspired others to donate.

The Allstate NACDA Good Works team focuses on student-athletes’ services throughout the year. The 2025-26 school year will start three teams this fall.
