Allianz UK has been promoted to Director of Partnerships in its personal line retail leadership team, which includes Home Insurance.
Watts will be responsible for the overall growth and product development of the company’s partner business, which establishes and builds relationships with brokers, affinity partners, banks and construction societies.
It added that the appointment “reflects Allianz’s ambition to develop and grow its UK business”.
Watts previously held positions on the interim, before leading the agency sales and marketing team.
She has over 25 years of experience in the Personal Line Market and has worked with a wide range of partners, most recently with financial advisors and mortgage brokers in the Intermediary Market.
Henry Topham, managing director of Allianz UK Retail Insurance, added: “Sarah brings a lot of energy, experience and motivation to this job, what I mean for our personal partnership business.
“We see a huge opportunity to grow in the UK insurance market, a key part of our broader expansion strategy.”
