Santander brings back interest rates below 4% – Mortgage Strategy

Santander reintroduces a 4% fixed rate for home moving.
The new interest rate for the two-year fixed rate will start at 3.97% and the three-year fixed rate is 3.99%, both of which are 60% loan-to-value (LTV).
Additionally, lenders announced that they would reduce most standard first-time buyer fixed rates by up to 0.17%, while Home Mover fixed rates up to 0.13%.
Most cashing in two-year fixed rates will also drop by up to 0.18%, and some five-year fixed prices will have a revision rate of up to 0.12%.
Elsewhere, newly built FTB fixed rates have been reduced by as much as 0.21%, and some new Build Home Mover Mover fixed rates have been reduced by as much as 0.09%.
The rate of reduction for fixed interest rates for all purchases (BTLs) is up to 0.11%, while the rate of reduction for fixed interest rates for all BTLs is also considered to be 0.16%.
Meanwhile, Santander’s fixed interest rate for product transfer residential properties fell by 0.18%, while BTL fixed price fell by 0.16%.
