My April 2025 goal (plus an update to my March goal)

oops! I think March has gone in an instant, and we are halfway through April. But I still want to post my goal for this month – even on April 15!

By the way, if you are new, in 2025, I will change the way I set my goals. Instead of setting annual goals, I set monthly goals. Every month, I share a list of new goals for the next month and provide the latest information about my goals for the previous month.

I feel like this approach will make unexpected situations and unknown capabilities more flexible. It also starts restarting at the beginning of each month. This will allow me to customize my goals for a month and I may know that it may have been set (which means a few months I know I will have more time and space than the others).

To categorize my goals, I use predicate and five areas that I want to prioritize and intentionally abide by time and energy: myself, marriage, maternity, moneysavingmom.com and money.

So far, this method works well! Here is what I’m going to do in March:

Latest information on my March 2025 goals

I

  • Unplug the power in 100 hours.
  • Related to her reading of Truth Lent research.
  • Completed 6 books.
  • 60 hours away. (I’m only 50 hours outside – a lot of it all month!)
  • Sleep for 15 nights at 10:30 pm. (I only called this for 8 nights, but I did download the Opal app this month and now after 8pm I don’t have an app on my phone and it doesn’t have an overlay, so we’ll see how things are going and if something is going to be made!)
  • 200 projects were sorted out.
  • Walk 10,000 steps at least 25 days. (I only had 10 days of calling, but, hey, what is that!)
  • Make homemade mayonnaise.

  • 2 family dates.
  • The performance season is over we are currently watching together.

A lot of different things happened to April, so I pulled my goal a little bit. One change I made earlier this month was to start using the opal app mentioned above to close all apps at 8pm and I can’t overwrite it, it’s so good for me, it’s great to quit my night reading time, either go to bed early or spend more time reading, spend more time at night, and use time better at night!
