Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier said the review identified a number of irrelevant claims that should not be filed for reimbursement. These damages allegedly include damages related to non-Herridge, and none of them are eligible for payment under the Fund’s guidelines. The report said the Attorney General’s Office noted that Global’s reporting practices have led to excessive payments from the Hurricane Foundation.
