The company grew under the leadership of CEO David Ross, supported by Madison Dearborn partners and later Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. Ardonagh has acquired assets in markets including Brazil, Spain and Italy. Last year, it purchased Australia’s PSC Insurance Group for an implicit equity value of $2.3 billion ($1.5 billion) and integrated the company privately and with Envest Business.
