Aspen Bridge has confirmed four major premium promotions to support the business target of £250 million loans in 2025, which represents a 25% book growth.
Aqib Iqbal became the head of credit and Sinead McMurray played the vacant role of his credit manager. The two joined through the Graduate Recruitment Program (GRS) in 2021 and 2022, respectively, and played an important role in helping manage and improve lenders’ credit functions.
Richard Tweddell served as underwriting manager for senior underwriters. He started on lenders through GRS in 2021 and now deals with some of Aspen’s most complex cases.
Richard Coombs takes a broader role as an operations manager from a credit analyst.
The promotion comes after the lender recently announced four appointments to its GRS, namely the largest single student intake to date, and the upcoming = Midlands BDM.
