TSB launches two-year fix below 4%, Clydesdale Bank cuts 0.21% – Mortgage Strategy

TSB lowers interest rates for selected homes, product transfers and additional borrowing products, with interest rates as low as 3.99%.
The cuts include a two-year fixed interest rate of 0% to 60% Loan Value (LTV) at a fee of £1,495, at 3.99%. This applies to existing TSB customers who complete product transfers.
Other incisions within the product transfer range include two-year fixed 0% to 75% LTV and 85% and 90% LTV, up to 0.20%.
Lender’s homes have two-year fixed first-time buyers and Home Mover 85% to 90% LTVs have a 0.10% reduction, while five-year FTB and Home Mover 75% to 90% LTVs have a 0.10% reduction.
Additional lending scope residential LTVs are reduced by 0.20% for two-year fixed at 0% to 75%, while three-year fixed fixed volumes have been reduced by as much as 0.10%.
Meanwhile, Clydesdale Bank lowers its core product range, exclusive products and purchase volume (BTL) range.
The two-year BTL rate of 60% to 75% of LTV was reduced by 0.21%.
The bank’s 75% and 80% LTV discount exclusive rates will be reduced by up to 0.12%, while the 65% LTV two-year and five-year residential product transfer rates will be reduced by up to 0.10%.
Within the core product range, the selected 65% and 75% LTV two- and five-year residential rates will be reduced by up to 0.10%.
