1. Benefits of family-centered

Considering that most employees bear some kind of student debt, one of the most important benefits for employees is student loan repayment assistance. As of January 2025, about 42.7 million Americans have federal student loan debt, with an average of about $40,000 in loans. According to Paycor, the study shows that if employers provide student loan support, 86% of workers will be committed to employers for five years.

7. Mental health and health benefits

Implementing mental health and wellness benefits can have a great return on investment and improve employee morale and health. Consider offering programs such as gym reimbursement, buying books, health coaching and getting stipends for consultation.
